Broken hearted from a recent break-up, Ruben has spent his evenings after work and weekends
by himself. He’s taken the time to think about his perfect woman. One night, a grey, shimmering shape appears at the
foot of his bed, and on the nights that follow, that shape gradually reveals more of itself and becomes his ideal woman. He
knows he’s conjured her up, knows he’s possibly insane, but she’s so real, so there,
that he can’t quite believe she’s a figment of his imagination.
She teaches him to become the self he’s denied for so long, a man who can go out
there and get what he wants. But Ruben has fallen in love with her, and when she tells him she has to leave, that there’s
someone else out there for him, he’s left broken hearted all over again. Until…
